November’s Meeting; A Huge Success
November’s meeting was filled with valuable information and a very dynamic discussion. REIS welcomed Sharon Peters-Martin, the CEO of Financial Advantage, an accounting and tax planning firm that specializes in real estate investors and entrepeneur’s. Ms. Peter’s and the REIS members engaged in a fascinating discussion about a variety of tax planning strategies from depreciation strategies to when to use Schedule C versus Schedule E.
As always, the meeting concluded with our Investor Exchange. This is an opportunity for all the members to share experiences, opportunities and challenges with one another. This meeting’s exchange centered on short sale/foreclosure purchase strategies and a wealth of information was exchanged.
